CAREER OVERVIEW

I have greatly enhanced the companies I have worked for with social media campaigns, and other digital media, creating a greater presence and spreading the company ethos.  I adapt very well to new surroundings, previously undertaking a sales role, and breaking a company sales record within a few months.  With most of my working life has been based on performance goals, I am swift to act on any new direction or task that will need to be achieved.  I have also previously owned small businesses which I enjoyed operating and being responsible for the day to day operation.

Working as a photographer for many years, shooting commercial images, public relation shoots, advertising, fashion and wedding events, I have an excellent understanding of what makes the perfect image to represent clients. While I’m more often behind my MacBook now rather than the camera, representing people, companies and items in the best manner possible is part of my everyday life.

Respect gained from my steadfast personal qualities underlines the training and mentoring of often new or younger members of a team to maintain a dynamic operating level in the modern market. A high level of commitment has been made to training since entering the workforce.  I have completed a Grad. Cert in Business (Marketing), while studying my master’s degree, I accumulated a Grad. Cert in Advertising, all 3 are now complete.

I harness the Waldorf Principles for use in time management, and utilize modern business techniques, particularly in digital form with best use of EDM, CRM platforms, use of SEO and SEM techniques to create functioning effective sales funnels.  I also subscribe to the ethos of Simon Sinek.

Performance

I like setting records.

I once posted a sale on social media and had a in store response in 30 minutes.

Highest reach for an unpaid Social media post was 975,000 people.

When working at the kayak store with no marketing budget, I would consistently level peg with the marketing manager who had a healthy budget.

I once set a company sales record, selling 16 kayaks to one guy in thongs.

I tripled the Facebook following of a company in 48 hours, even though their Facebook page had been created 2 years prior.

I once created a Facebook profile, and a company page, which links, and phone numbers were to a real company and boosted the sales in the company by 30%, with no paid advertising, just through organic reach.
