The watercraft registry is a company I innovated when I was part of a search and rescue group that operationally rescued people out on the ocean, or rendered assistance in non-emergency situations. I worked with this group for about 9 years as a volunteers and during that time, it became evident to me that no one looked after the group of people between beach goers, and vessel users.
This group consists of paddlers, surfers, wind sports like kite surfing and wind surfing, small sail boats, divers and the like. Knowing whats required from my search and rescue training, I innovated a tag ID system, had the website built and have been promoting the system since.
To further assist this demographic, I’ve also been attending events where these people race their craft, and offer at no cost water safety and marshalling services in the company owned boat.
